Training Squadron VT-3 "The Red Knights"

PRIMARY FLIGHT TRAINING

Flying operations conducted by VUSN squadrons are carried out using Flight Simulator version 2004 for the enjoyment and entertainment of virtual naval aviators.

VUSN operations in the VT-3 are under the operational and administrative command of vTRACOM. Training Squadron VT-3 is composed of aviators starting their VUSN PRIMARY training. The Squadron uses the TEXAN T-6 II and  it can be downloaded  here

VT-3 operations are conducted in the North Whiting Field (KNSE), Florida area.

The link above will give you a page you can print out and use for online flights. VT-3 has been assigned Frequencies for our training flights.                      

There are various methods for you to complete your lessons with a IP (Instructor Pilot). The preferred method is to use the  IP REQUEST FORM  however, the VUSN FORUM is also another area to get help. Be sure to state the date/time you want to fly with an IP, and also which module you would like to complete.

Another method is to contact the IP via email and arrange for a suitable time to meet online. The names on the Instructor Roster page are all hotlinks, and you can click on a name to send an email to a Instructor Pilot. .
